For a computer screen a couple of feet away from your face, you can see a difference if your screen is any larger than 27 inches.
But at that range, p is ideal. On cell screens, the icons become clearer, and on computer monitors it gives you a larger workspace. The ability to put more on the screen and still have it more clearly defined than it would be on a Full HD monitor makes it perfect for video and photo editing.
It can sometimes cause readability issues as the letters are well-defined but much smaller on the screen, but the fact remains that even on smaller screens p can be beneficial.
Whether or not you should use it depends on how powerful your gaming set up is. Looking at the need to find a compromise between processing power and video quality brings us to the next obvious comparison…. So why not simply use p?
The most important questions to ask are whether or not your computer is capable of performing up to your expectations at that resolution, and whether the increased price is worth it. With gaming, you need to look especially close at what the increased resolution will do to your frame rate.
Most times, if your fps would suffer at all from upgrading to 4K, QHD would be preferable. With hardware assistance from a device like AV. Then of course, there is cost to consider. So again you have to look at whether the increased definition is worth it. General consensus is that for a computer monitor just a few feet away from your face, you can notice a difference between QHD and 4K if it is any larger than about 32 inches. My monitors native res is x, and i would like to use the 'resolution downscale' option in the video settings of OBS to downscale to p for Youtube, but have noticed that there is no p resolution available, only x or the nearest to p is, x Is it possible to add a p option for people who have monitors that have a native res of x??
You can just set the base resolution to x manually. Yeah i understand that, but for quality purposes i always thought it was best to use the resolution downgrade option? The quality of the graphics look so much realistic at thanif I leave and get 40 frames, is there really a difference between that and 60 frames? I don't really see any lagging at 40 frames. If you don't see or feel any difference between 40fps and 60fps you need to have your eyes checked.
Just kidding, but no seriously. This might be a former CS player snob kind of thing, but for me anything below 50fps in an FPS feels extremely sluggish. The reason for this has to do with input registration. I would recommend to at least maintain 60fps, but by all means if you are fine with 40fps and prefer better graphics over a higher framerate then go for it. Over time however for becoming a "better" player I'd suggest trying to go with a high framerate as with time your eyes will start to detect the difference.

I know "google it", but i tried to understand it through that, but its still confusing to me. Maybe some PC gamers can explain it to me easier. Or will it affectit at all? I have a GTXand an I7 k so i know i would get decent frames on some games, but if there is no difference, then i won't mess with it Yes i am stupid when it comes to PCs.

The "Post process" setting also clears up the image quality massively, since it is tied into the general presentation of all the textures unfortunately and also the TAA quality which you can't turn off, because DICE are idiots. Also, the preciseness of advice we are able to give to you is highly dependent on the hardware you run, since it would be advantageous to know if either your cpu or gpu is a potential bottleneck.

System is kind of old with IK oc to 4. In other words, if I am correct, res. Any thoughts!? I never have all same. Usually high on some and medium on less important etc.
